How Did Heavenly Scent Critters Begin?

In the beginning we were known as Heavenly Scent Candles.  As a small home based business, we began making candles in the year 2000.  In order to provide a healthier environment for our customers, we decided to use an all natural soy wax and scent instead of the usual petroleum based paraffin wax.

In 2002, our son was diagnosed with a brain tumor and other medical challenges which required our being with him 24/7 for weeks at a time.  We were blessed with many friends and family coming along side of us to help with the financial burden and for that we will be eternally thankful. 

However, we needed to be able to take control of our own situation and thus was born Heavenly Scent Critters.  Although we did not originate the concept of the animals, we realized the uniqueness in them and the excitement they generated as we sold them.  We began receiving many calls from people wanting to order more for gifts, etc.  As the demand for these animals grew, we later realized this would be a great way for organizations to make money and have a different and cost worthy product for the public to purchase.  Just a nice change from candy bars and popcorn.

Our son is doing very well and our business is now helping many groups such as churches, schools and special interest groups, raise the needed funds for there organizations.  We hope you will join our family and Heavenly Scent Critters in giving a wonderful new look and approach to fundraising.
